The AGM will be followed by a presentation on “Vancouver’s Great Retail Concepts”.   Find out how Urban Fare, Liberty, and Gravity Pope have been successful in the Vancouver market - where other retailers have failed. Find out who they are, what they stand for, and how they've successfully cultivated their market.

With their new signature location next to the Shangri-La, Urban Fare has more locations than any other major grocery store in the downtown peninsula.  Urban Fare's goal is to bring its shoppers "a little bit of gourmet every day".  Overwaitea Food Group Vice-President Tom Munro will be joining the panel to explain the strategy and success behind Vancouver's gourmet grocery store.

Liberty began as a small boutique in trendy South Granville. Since then, this progressive company has grown into one of the premier home-decor shops in Greater Vancouver with locations in Vancouver, North Vancouver and Langley. Specializing in beauty, style and substance, Liberty is about beautiful living-- a concept Vancouver has fully embraced. What is their secret? Colette Soros, CEO of Liberty and Christa Craig, Liberty Director of Sales reveals their magic strategy this session.

Vancouver's trendiest fashionista's would probably be surprised to learn that Vancouver's hottest shoe store was born in Edmonton. With the success of the shoe store on 4th Ave, Gravity Pope just opened a clothing store next door.  With its finger on the pulse of fashion further expansion plans are in the works for this Western Canadian store.  What makes Gravity Pope so hot?  Vancouver Manager Jody Kirk joins the panel to explain.
