These have a direct impact on crime rates\, business\, tourism and property values.Superintendent Lemcke from the Vancouver Police Department will share his findings on how our city can learn from successes in New York and the positive outcomes it has brought the city.Venue: Four Seasons Hotel DowntownSUPERINTENDENT WARREN LEMCKEIn September 2007 Inspector Lemcke was promoted to the rank of Superintendent and is currently assigned to Operations North Division where he leads all uniform functions and community responses in the south region of Vancouver.He was previously assigned as the Inspector in charge of Patrol District One and assignments prior to that were as Inspector in charge of the Beat Enforcement Team and Inspector in charge of VPD Facilities Sedction. He has worked in all four districts as a patrol Constable and Sergeant. He spent several years as a Traffic Enforcement Constable and walked the Granville Beat. Superintendent Lemcke is designated as a Public Order Commander\, receiving training in this field in the UK. He has a certificate in Administrative Management and numerous other courses. He is one of the only few Canadian police officers to complete the NYPD Internal Investigators course.
