A paramedic with B.C. Ambulance Service\, Mayor Mussatto also holds a BA and Professional Teaching Certificate\, as well as a Health and Fitness Certificate.\n\nRichard H. White was appointed the City of North Vancouver's Director of Community Development in August\, 2007. He has served the City of North Vancouver since 1984 in a variety of positions including City Planner and Waterfront Development Manager. A graduate of the Master's program at the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia\, he has also held planning positions with the Regional District of Central Okanagan and the City of Vancouver and as a consultant\, he has worked for community organizations and the U.B.C. Centre for Human Settlements.
