The goal of the session will be to help attendants communicate in such a way that is not only interesting but will compel their listener(s) to want to find out more. Along with this model story telling elements will also be introduced that can help when communicating over social media and in retail environments. \;

\nIvan Wanis Ruiz is a communications expert with a unique background. \; Originally trained in facilitation by the Ministry of Attorney\, he has since become an A Distinguished Toastmaster\, Certified trainer for the Dale Carnegie Business group and holds a certificate in Adult education. \;
\n
\nHe is also a trained actor and has been featured in films like Rise of the Planet of the Apes and guest starred on TV shows such as Conviction\, Taken and Supernatural to name a few. \; He is a graduate of the Second City and performs regularly in Toronto. \;
\n
\nIvan is also an accomplished educator and has been a guest lecturer at the UBC Sauder School of Business\, Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson and OISE at University of Toronto among others.

\nWhen he is not training he is putting his skills to the test as an event MC/Host. \; He was the principal MC for the Pan Am Games Torch Relay and the games themselves speaking in front of group of thousands daily. He was also the live host for the City of Toronto NYE Celebrations and most recently Ivan was on stage with baseball great Roberto Alomar &\; Mayor John Tory hosting the Latin Vision Awards.
